Get ready for Christmas and buy your decorations in the most famous Christmas market of Barcelona. The Fira de Santa Llucia (first Saturday December – 23rd December) is outside the Cathedral of Barcelona. A 10-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. This Christmas market is one of the best December events in Barcelona.
Buy your Christmas presents in El Corte Inglés department store, there are several in the city. The biggest one is in Plaza Catalunya (metro L1,L3 Catalunya). Other popular shopping centers: Las Arenas (L1,L3 Plaza Espanya), L'Illa Diagonal (L3 Maria Cristina) or La Maquinista (L1 Torras i Bages).
All shops close on 25th, 26th December and 1st , 6th January. El Corte Inglés opens on 5th January till midnight.

Visit all Barcelona attractions on your Christmas holidays. Although most museums close on 25th, 26th December and 1st , 6th January, the stunning Gaudi's works don't: Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Pedrera, Casa Batllo... The Zoo of Barcelona is also opened. Bear in mind that Sagrada Familia and the Zoo open only in the morning those days. You might like to go ice skating in the Camp Nou ice rink, as well.

I suggest you go to restaurants in Barcelona to have lunch or dinner, from a cozy tapas bar to a restaurant with tasty traditional Catalan cuisine. Let me suggest you the following places:
Cerveceria Catalana: great tapas bar where you will find an endless assortment of montaditos. Address: Mallorca, 236. How to get there: metro L3 (Diagonal, Passeig de Gràcia).
Restaurant Cinc Sentits: this Michelin starred restaurant offers good service and high quality Catalan cuisine. Address: Aribau, 58. How to get there: metro L1 (Universitat)
